WThis is a home-style take on a beverage found on our latest drinks list. This is a large-volume pre-mixed that's loaded with the essence associated with Christmas time, rendering it excellent for a holiday party. Reserve the remaining citrus syrup to use in morning drinks, desserts, or for another batch of this cocktail.

To make the Citrus Syrup (makes 750ml)
300ml recently pressed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g granulated sugar
For the Drink (produces 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml clementine syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, for finishing
Directions
To prepare the Cordial: Put every items in a saucepan, bring to a simmer, agitating so the sugar melts. Next, remove from the heat and leave to cool entirely. Decant into a sealable bottle, seal and refrigerate it in the fridge, it will last for about four weeks.
For the Premix: Mix the specified liquids in a sizeable container, let it rest for one hour, then strain preferably using muslin, making it completely strained.
When ready to serve: Pour 85ml of your premix into your mixing glass filled with ice, and agitate gently for one minute to cool it down. Filter to a cold coupe glass or equivalent, garnish with the cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of mandarin oil above the glass.
